Friends, associates and colleagues from the past wishing to attend a reunion dinner in a convivial and often informal atmosphere (though some occasions are formal) are welcome. Such reunions are held in the months from Easter to Autumn. Anyone else wishing to meet Bishop Manchester may do so at Glastonbury, as well as the Holy Grail Retreat on England’s south coast. Discussions concerning projects and sundry informal meetings usually occur at the retreat. Bishop Manchester no longer gives secular interviews, but will always talk to the Christian media. Ecclesiastical matters are usually conducted at Glastonbury. People requesting to meet the bishop who he does not know will be asked to complete a questionnaire for background information. Familiar faces and colleagues may visit during the period from Advent to Epiphany for seasonal food with festive music. Visits are always pre-arranged by appointment.
